I am a witness that God energize those who get tired and give fresh strength to those that dropout. For even the young tire out…even those considered to be in their prime stumble and fall. BUT those who wait upon the Lord receive fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, they run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind (Isaiah 40:31TM) When we choose to wait on the Lord and spend in his presence we are truly strengthen by his promises, confident in his covenant and focused because of HIS faithfulness. As I embark upon new territory on my road to competing in my first NPC Bikini (National Physique Committee) I must wait on the Lord for strength just as much as I lift my weights for strength. I am constantly reminded of my pastors remarks; ‘If you put God last….You won’t last!’ For me, both Waiting on the Lord and lifting Weights are a lifestyle. However I have found “Wait Training is the ultimate in strength conditioning!
Tell me…which one do you depend on to give you strength?
